Blackbird Moon is a collective music project created by singer and lyricist Robin Oliver. Featuring her original ballads some with musical accompaniment. The origin of the title Blackbird Moon; it is an Australian term to describe a monthly event that occurs when the moon is waxing at about two thirds full, which is the point in the moon cycle when large choirs of blackbirds begin to sing each night together until the full moon has wained, then all fall quiet until the next blackbird moon session arises.
